Bockens Hus (Inju no Yado/Nikkatsu Sweden Porno – A Lodging House) is a scintillating, scandalous flick directed by the great Shogoro Nishimura, and at times recalls his 1970 proto-roman porno Midnight Virgin with its debauched and violent group sex cult. Significantly more action-packed than the low-budget elegies of Sweden Porno’s first two years, Bockens Hus is a standout entry in both Sweden Porno and Roman Porno. Familiar faces from hardcore and softcore cinema appear throughout, namely Inger Sundh, Britten Larsson, and Teddy Lundberg, regular players in Joe Sarno’s sleaze. This movie is a gorgeous oddity featuring many beautiful naked women and a few unexpected yet welcome scenes of explicit softcore sex. One to see!
