Description: Where can an out-of-work gal with a pretty figure find gainful employment in the Big Apple? Why, at Nudes, Inc., of course!
Such is the case with Barbara Jo (MONICA DAVIS of Sin In The City ), a shy blonde lass, who answers an ad looking for figure models. Upon arriving at Nudes, Inc. , an apprehensive Barbara Jo is given the grand tour by a certain Mr. Lewis and introduced to the wonderful world of cheesecake photography for men’s magazines. He shows her behind the scenes and assures her that their operation is strictly professional – the models are just “regular gals” looking to make a decent living in a tough town.
Barbara Jo is still on the fence, so Mr. Lewis encourages her to stick around and watch some photo shoots in action. “Regular gals” DAWN BENNETT poses with a towel in a bathtub setting; DARLENE BENNETT rides a stationary bicycle; and GIGI DARLENE vamps it up next to a big orbital sculpture. Other stark-naked gals with big hairdos sit around chit-chatting and preening while waiting for their turn in front of the camera.
Mr. Lewis also warns Barbara Jo what can happen to models who don’t work with a reputable studio. They get propositioned and taken advantage of by wolves!
After much consideration, Barbara Jo decides to be photographed sans clothing in a classy photo layout. Elegant and refined, she rises to the occasion, tastefully posing and covering her naughty bits with a drapery. Better to bare it all than go hungry in the big city!
In other words, welcome to the wonderful world of BARRY MAHON, who wins the King of the Nudie-Cutie crown simply by his sheer unrelenting output. In 1965 alone, Mr. Mahon churned out at least ten (ten!!!) nudie cutie features as well as numerous nudie-cutie shorts. “Nudes, Inc.” should’ve been his middle name. — Lisa Petrucci
