     It just has no sound as a lot of loops from 70’s and 80’s. I do not know why

     These loops not having sound is not a fault, it’s sort of a “feature”.

     Loops often were projected in coin-operated booths of various kinds “downtown”, when not at, for example, “magazine” dealers, not unlike with the Mutoscope from the late 19th century. The Mutoscope was an early motion picture device, which provided viewing to only one person at a time. These Mutoscopes founded the wealth of the original film pornographers in the US as they quickly dominated the coin-in-the-slot peep-show business.

     Loops of 8mm or even 16mm were simply made as a more modern form of such coin-operated peep-show machines, where no projector operator was needed, unless the machine or loop failed. Like 8-track audio tapes, the loops were endless-fitted (in the machine) and would simply repeat with each new coin insert.

     Because these machines were installed for the rain-coat crowd public to be viewed in public spaces, and because of the cumbersomeness and technical difficulties of audio playback systems, these were typically projected without sound, although later versions of such machines did indeed have sound playback capabilities.

     Those machines would typically be fitted with reels that had sound, but filming loops were often done under extremely cheap circumstances, very quickly. Making loops with sound was twice the effort and hassle, and at a higher production and manufacturing cost, so most loops were silent.
